Timber components for a building with a different purpose

This veterinary surgery provides a non-residential example of Krivaja’s manufacturing work. Its published account describes prefabricated components, glulam and joinery produced in Bosnia and shipped to the UK, with Lee Evans Partnership named in the project.

The manufacturer’s contribution

A co-ordinated set of components

The project brings together several areas of manufacturing capability. Prefabricated elements, engineered timber and joinery each have a role in the building, with their interfaces developed through the project design.

A reference for capability and logistics

Useful evidence, not a standard specification

For Grain’s residential clients, this example is most useful as evidence of the manufacturer’s work across different building types and the practical connection between overseas manufacture and UK installation. It does not define a standard residential specification, shipping duration or package price.
