Dusko brings the construction perspective to Grain, helping connect the proposed timber-frame package with practical delivery considerations. His focus is on the relationship between the design, manufacturing information and the work needed on site.
Nurul Basher
Nurul brings commercial and digital leadership to Grain, helping shape how clients engage with the business and move from an initial enquiry into a clearer project conversation.
Claire Woods
Claire brings together two sides of her experience at Grain & Co.: a professional background in brand and marketing, and a lifelong connection to building and property.
She grew up as part of a builder’s family surrounded by building work. Some of her earliest memories are of sitting on the workshop floor with her Dad, surrounded by wood, and spending time on building sites and in architects’ offices, looking through drawings. Every summer holiday involved several site visits. That early familiarity grew into hands-on experience later in life in property development, managing a property portfolio and overseeing building projects.
At Grain & Co., Claire draws on both perspectives to help make the building journey clear and well considered. She focuses on thoughtful communication, useful guidance and a consistent client experience, so people feel informed and supported as their project takes shape.
Together, we are building a business around a defined product offer and a relationship that continues across the agreed stages of the project.
A UK portfolio of private homes and developments
Our manufacturing partner, Krivaja, produces prefabricated timber-frame components and joinery in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its published portfolio includes UK private homes and residential developments.
Grain works with the manufacturer and the appointed project specialists to develop the frame package around the building you want to create.

Grain co-ordinates the agreed journey and supplies the package set out in your proposal. Architectural, structural, planning, finance, insurance and warranty advice comes from the relevant appointed specialist. Your architect develops the design; engineers resolve the structure; the manufacturer and installation team deliver their agreed work. Grain keeps the relevant information connected to the frame package.
Appointments, fees, responsibilities and any referral arrangements are explained before work begins. You do not need to replace a trusted architect or builder to start a conversation with Grain.
